LAX Terminal Connection Design Vision

Schematic work involved putting together Design Vision concepts (rendering & sketches) for the proposed infill terminal buildings at LAX. Specifically terminals 4, 3, and 1.5 connectors.

This project underwent a series of schematic design iterations in response to the LAWA Design Vision call for entries in 2012. Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) desires to have a cohesive and memorable image of Los Angeles International Airport. The image requested is one to be iconic and unique to Los Angeles, create a favorable first impression for visitors and locals, brand the airport and the city internationally.

The "vision" primarily intended to address the image and visual architectural and urban design character of the north side terminal area with respect to the 1960s Theme Building.

Responsibilities: Rendering/graphic work of several iterations of schematic designs discussed with project manager.
